Ella Görners Arbeit verarbeitet Themen und untersucht Trends, die an den Schmelzpunkten von Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft, Kultur und Technologie entstehen. Mit ihren gegenwärtigen Untersuchungen in diesen Gebieten erschafft sie visuelle Kommentare zu unserer konstruierten Umgebung. Ihre letzten Arbeiten adressieren Bildsprache und Platzierung von innovativen oder umweltverändernden Produkten und untersuchen Modelle von, heute gängigen, Unternehmensstrukturen. Moderner Umweltaktivismus und wie sich Konditionen der Sichtbarkeit unter dem Anthropozän verändern sind wesentliche Inhalte ihrer Arbeiten.
Görner (*1989, Deutschland) studiert gerade an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Dresden, wo Sie auch lebt und arbeitet. Letzte Solo- und Gruppenprojekte beinhalten Hypersalon, Miami, USA; The Composing Rooms, Berlin; Konstanet Gallery, Estland und die Minimal Art Gallery, galerie baer und Mikky Burg, Dresden.
Stephen Nachtigall’s practice seeks to exploit gaps between notions of identity and signification from an ecological and environmental perspective. Working in sculpture, video, and installation, his practice drives towards the mediation of ecological concerns with notions of virtuality and culture.
Nachtigall (b. 1986, Canada) lives and works in Eugene, Oregon where he is currently an MFA Candidate at the University of Oregon. He has exhibited in Canada, the United States, and Scotland.
